since you have a studio you prob have a lot of knowlege on lighting eqipment. And since you use caon I ask you this. If you follow my blog you know that I work for a pizza plce. A few weeks ago this guy came in and filled out an app. Turns out he is also a photog. He has a speedatron ( I think that I speeled that right), Light set for sale. He wants 400 for it and I was going to go take a look at it. Is it compatible with my 30D. What should I look for. He said that he has two light stands and umbrellas and some other syuff. And he said that he would also throw in a free backdrop. Well I hope to open a studio soon and I know that I will need some lights. Any help would be awesome.
:goodjob:Your pix are worth waiting for ~ and I made a quick trip over to your other site to read and comment there! ~ Carolyn
I am so sorry I didnt get out to the studio in time…By the time I could get out there it was too dark and I want to get some natural light out there…
Tomorrow!

RYC: So true about “chewing our food properly”. I hadn’t thought of it in that way, but it’s so right on!! Be blessed today-Christy
I loved your recent post on your personal blog, and I completely understand how God can just touch a person’s heart and be overwhelmed with emotion. What an awesome experience. May you continue to put Him first in your life and you will always be amazed at the wonderful things he will do in your life!

After having a studio then not having a studio (because we needed to add lots of electrical for all the lighting) we are finally done! The studio is up and we are getting it ready now for work. We painted it and also planned on sealing the concrete but we decided to leave it for...

Hey kerri !! Thank you very much for your nice comment, i’m glad you liked some of the shootings, the guy you saw was the boyfreind of one of the girls i was taking pics of , and at the end they wanted me to take couple of pics of them as a couple so i did, and yes i was the only one shooting , though i’d love to experience one day been able do some team work , and serve as backup in a shooting session , i think that will be a great experience , becouse i totlally enjoy and admire to see each individual’s unqiueness dispalyed through photography , to me is simply fascianting, and i enjoy it very much !
Thank you very much again , for you nice comement Kerri , may God bless you and hope you have a great week ahead of you !

Sounds interesting — maybe I should check into it too. Glad you had a great time. ~Carolyn (Dalip is doing fine — back to work. When it was so hot here, Dalip would go around without a shirt. One evening at the kitchen table, I was looking at him and then I said, “Is that your heart beating there?” He said, “Yes.” Without his sternum, I can see his heart beating…….I can’t stand to see that now. Since he has mechanical valves, Eric hears them clicking. I never have heard them but I’m not ‘looking’ to hear them either. Take GOOD care of your heart.)
Wow, nothing like getting your creative juices flowing! Sounds like you are in for a lot of fun to come:) Blessings on your efforts, you may discover latent talent:) God bless you both, Gerrie
:yes:Wow…I can’t wait to see where God takes this new vision of yours!!!!!! I will be eagerly waiting to see…Love ya, Kerri…Is Mark continuing to do well? Praying for you and your beloved family–Paula:heartbeat:
the wacom tablet is very nice with the painter bundle… it does wonders.
Are you nuts?! LOL! Corel Painter has been know to break up families its so stinking hard to do! If you want to paint, get a brush a canvas and really paint.
You can get a free download of Corel Painter on their site to try out and drive yourself crazy for a month and see if you STILL THINK you want to go on. Its like going through Dental surgery trying to paint with a digital wacom tablet, the pain of it all…its bringing back those bad memories, I have to go take a Asprin now…
I am glad you enjoyed PPSV. It is a fabulous opportunity to get together with others in your trade!!
Previously, I worked on manga comics with a Wiacom tablet – and I loved it! Right now I’m using a mouse – but that’s okay! Think I’ll buy one for myself for home use… I haven’t used Corel in TEN years. Is it as good as or better than Photoshop?
Andrew was doing drawings and paintings with his mouse and was so good. Then for Christmas he got a pen and a tablet (unsure if it was Wacom). So when he gets back from Seattle, I will ask him how he liked it. Andrew turned in the ones he did with the mouse and an Artist said they were so good and drawing/painting with a mouse is like drawing/painting with a bar of soap.
I have actually been photographing Weddings since the year 2001, but this year it has really taken off. http://www.mcolemanphotography.com
be blessed,
~michele
Glad to hear you went to your local group! I have learned SOOOOO much my from local groups, and the PPA as well. They are really quite affordable for the education you receive! Keep on going! It’s the best way to keep your business fresh and new!!
