Hey! The photo was on http://www.neatorama.com, it was one of the only pics I could find for the content of “Invisible Man.” The photograph captures the setting described by Invisible Man in the prologue of the book. It’s kind of one of those books where the beginning is the end et cetera.
Here are a few links that I found that kind of outline the premise of not only the prologue, but the thematic elements of the book (since you mentioned the fight against evil).

This may only be a matter of taste…but it just seemed like at the end of the book I felt like I had been through the ringer for no apparent reason. All this fighting and struggle – and for what? I think it may also be due to the time this novel was published, as well as the fact that I am not an African American. All in all, it definitely makes you think, so in that way it was definitely worth it.
Annyway, I’m off to make dinner!

RYC: It’s so nice that you guys get to watch Jayden and I’m sure Kelly appreciates it too. I wish my parents were a little bit closer and I know they do too. They miss the boys. We’re all hanging in there right now. Jonah is going through some pretty trying times – he is two and showing it. His big thing right now is to say, “Hand, hand, HAND!” and drag us to wherever or whatever it is he wants us to do. It cracks me up. And Zachary is smiling. It’s amazing and I haven’t caught it yet in a picture to post. I’ve gotta work on that!

terrific work on this wedding! i agree with dawn’s comments about your images. you did a great job during the ceremony, especially considering the lighting conditions were changing rapidly. patchy shade can be such a challenge, and you handled it well. i really enjoyed viewing the reception shots as well! and the butterfly photos were really cool.
