Too funny!!!!!! ~ Dawn :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat:
I saw that in the paper. It certainly would be worth more than a toaster
I just filled up the wifes small car..her Altima. Its only a 16 gallon tank that we bought new 2 years ago. Then it cost us about $26.40 to fill up…now it is costing me $73.44!! I guess its time to RAISE my prices. Oy Vay!

0 votes Tim and Kelly are married! We arrived at David Girard Vineyards on Saturday around 2:00 pm with the wildest weather. As the afternoon progressed and we realized their gorgeous ceremony setting was going to have to be moved into the reception tent we knew this was going to be a minute by minute decision...

:coolman: Look…I know you all very well. You could take a bag full of clay and are able to shape it, and create from it the very finest finished product. They are going to love the images you created for them! I think having the rain made you all even more creative and I can’t wait to see the beautiful web show Mark creates.:spinning:
That sure is a beautiful dress. The picture is good too. :sunny:
@AnieT -
Oh I am a dummy! You were answering my question at the bottom of the post! lol
It was a gloomy day but it made for great nature shots with all the wet dark wood, etc….
Randy that was so sweet of you to say all that…it was challenging but I think we all had a good time and we are excited to process the rest.
Thanks Brenda! Nice to see you here its been a looong time! Her dress was beautiful it was a blush color and she looked gorgeous in it! Slideshow coming in the next couple of weeks, cant wait to see more of it when Mark gets done editing all the photos!
LOL… that’s okay.
Are you having a hard time viewing my site? I did some locks to be able to limit viewers. I had too much nonsense traffic!
They ARE beautiful! I love the brides bouquet!!!!! Well done on the flexibility side!
awwwwwwwww sorry to hear! but wet weddings are unique…you can get some shots you don’t normally get to take right? and you don’t have to put a rain overlay over the shot in photoshop, it’s alllll natureal!!!
I am sure you got great shots. I heard it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day.
I am sure you got great shots. I heard it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day.
They are a wonderful couple~~ Thanks for your message..it has been a crazy four days for me…lots of emotions and feelings…and rethinking choices I have made…and LOTS of prayer asking God to show me the right path…. I can’t wait to get away and see you guys..
@dimsom - so true! I wish I had a black umbrella that I could have used with them…I love black umbrellas!
@joyfulphotography - You are so right! We were actually talking about that with the bride and groom while we were walking around with them. I wonder what they say about windy weddings! Mark and I had that situation when we got married.lol!
@portiajules - Hey girl! It is going to be so cool to actually sit and talk when you get here! I am sure you have alot going on in your head. Tal soon…
Sorry to hear about the gloomy weather! That must have presented quite the challenge…which I’m sure your team was more than up for! Look forward to the slideshow.
Well, that’s just my “vacation” home
I’m looking forward to the workshop. Things got so hectic in the past year and a half, but a few people nudged me to do it.
Great shot! Looking forward to the rest.
I was scheduled to do an engagement session this past Saturday as well but I was able to reschedule because of the rain.
@ShutterbugTim - you know I really actually loved the weather. I hate the heat so this was so nice for me! Plus I love rain. But I felt bad for Kelly and Tim. As you know the overcast sky is like a big soft diffuser so what is not to like? lol Have fun at your next class! I am serious about videotaping it!!! You are such a master at exposure and we all can always learn from each other!
@backlightphoto - Thanks!! Mark gave me this one to post because he didnt want to give any of the ones away that he is keeping for later…
Ben and Amanda will be married this fall at the beautiful Capitol Rose Garden by the State Capitol. Their reception will be at the always stunning Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento! We took them out for their engagement session at The Empire Mine. We LOVE this place as it has lots of places to shoot and they...

Your pictures are great and your grandson is adorable. So happy for Mark to be healed so miraculously… God Bless you all.
Oh that was beautiful, thanks for inviting us along on the shoot :heartbeat:
so many great images
Beautiful as always. I like when you change the wording on signs. I can’t wait until I get a computer again so I can use the software I have to do the same.
Mark loves tucking little things like that in all his slideshows! Hope you get your software soon so you can play, too!
@lydellphoto - Yeah, I’m chomping at the bit so to speak. We went to Arlington National Cememtary yesterday and I really want to edit some of those photos using tools I don’t have access to now!
Oh I hope it happens soon for ya. Nothing worse than waiting when you are ready!
Kerri

Why I am so thankful and blessed But first, I have to get in a shameless plug for Jayden…this is what he looks like when he is watching his favorite tv channel. Then when he gets tired of that he goes to Grandma’s library and cleans the shelves for her. He is just too funny....

YAY!! YAY!!! And now I get to meet you in a month…woo hoo!!!!!:sunny:
That is so awesome! God really does show us His grace and proves to others His handiwork, whether or not they chose to see it for what it is is their fault! :heartbeat:
Cute Jayden pics!
:heartbeat: I’m thankful to God that he introduced all of you to me! You all have been such a blessing and are not affraid to KEEP ME IN CHECK!
:sunny:
Randy
Oh Mark,
I can’t believe how much we have all enjoyed special times with you!!!! It was an honor to agree with you all in prayer all those years ago for your healing. I can still remember Jaimy praying for the “Squishy Ball in Mr. Mark’s Head.” You and your family have captured all the special times in Jaimy’s life, her babtism, Juilliard, and her 16th birthday. She has already asked you to be available waaaaaaaaaaaaay in the future for her wedding!!! We have been blessed by your miracle and soooooooooo looking forward to many more special times in the future.
Love you all,
The Headland Family
YAY GOD! Thank You for saving Mark body and soul! :heartbeat:
His work has blessd so many lives, and his family has been even more blessed!
“With God all things are possible” Matt 19:26
And that Jayden is too cute for words :spinning:
A truly wonderful story, Mark — may you have many more years ahead! I’m sure that the weekend’s news was a horrible reminder of how fragile our lives really are, and of all that you went through in your illness. I’m privileged to have had the opportunity to meet you recently, and hope to see you again! AND — love those pictures of Jayden!
@Donna -
Donna we have been blessed to have you stand with us all these years. God certainly brought us strong faithful friends in you guys. People come and go in our lives but you guys have always been there.
Thanks for loving us and it has been great watching Jaimy grow up and to be able to capture all her important events! I hope I can see through my lens when she walks down the aisle! Do they make lenses with windshield wipers?!
Talk to you tomorrow!
Love ya, Kerri
Thank you, Mark, for the reminder of this amazing story! Praise God!
God bless you and your beautiful family… ALWAYS! Life is so fragile. Thank you for your friendship… it’s an honor to know you! xoxoxxoxo Love, ~ Dawn
You forgot to list our shoot out…that was definitely worth living for…:fun:
So glad you’re around…
@mommyfish - haha you are so right!!!
@lastoriafoto - you have been such a blessing to us and I am glad God allowed our paths to cross.
@ShutterbugTim - it is always such an amazing reminder to us that we actually lived through that time with grace and peace which passed all understanding we knew it had to be God walking us through
@jondacrafts - It truly is an amazing story. I just got done reading it as I havent read it in quite some time and it still amazes me that we really went through all that.
@slmret - aww thanks that was sweet. We truly need to read that at least twice a year so we never forget!
@broncomom - Jayden certainly is the joy of our lives….and we are reminded by Ted’s diagnosis how remarkable and fragile life is for sure! We are totally counting our blessings again…
@Borelfoto - Randy you are a blessing to us. You are a good friend and I am glad Mark was here to have a good friend like you….
@AnieT - Thanks Anie God certainly got our attention and showed His Glory through our lives as we continued to trust and have faith in Him.
@sarahdawson - Thanks! We are too! So glad I wasnt made a widow at 40! I think I will give him a good hug before I shut my eyes and go to sleep tonight!
@portiajules - YAY!!!!! Cant wait!
@kafekotka - It really is amazing….I really feel like it was another lifetime….almost like a dream.
Yes, you certainly have been blessed. Last year my uncle died of a glioblastoma. He was given the same 3-6 months to live….3 with no treatment, and 6 even if he did take treatment. He had already begun to have the seizures. I wish he had come to M.D. Anderson, where at least there might have been some hope.
he’s getting so big. All he needs is a remote in his hands…LOL
God had great plans for you!
@SingingMom - Oh I am so sorry to hear that. Yes they told us the same thing. Mark went to Houston but we went to Dr. Burzynski’s clinic.
@backlightphoto - Ha! That is so true…a remote and he is all set. He tries but we always hide it on him cause he is so smart he knows what it is and what it is for!
It has been ages since I’ve been around. (Summer & no school for 3 months! :coolman:) I was looking back for recent pictures of Jayden — SO CUTE, & SURELY GETTING BIG!) — and I came to this blog. PTL! What fantastic testimonies!! I am so glad that we have such a powerful, loving Lord. Blessings to you all… Love in Jesus, Carolyn
I just want to squeeze him. I can’t believe I haven’t seen him yet! I will have to find out when he is there and stop by.

Here is a quick pic of Matt & Michelle after their wedding. They were married this last weekend at the beautiful Westminster Presbyterian Church in downtown Sacramento. What a lovely couple they are, you cannot tell by this but it was triple digits and the humidity was the worst I have ever seen in Sacramento but they were absolutely...

:sunny: They look beautiful, like movie stars! Can’t wait to see all the rest. Was it really that hot that day? I was home relaxing in my recliner in my air conditioned home sipping margaritas, didn’t notice.
Look, you all could shoot a wedding in a Tornado and the pictures would look beautiful:wink:
The Rando
She has such pretty eyes! Can’t wait to see all the photos..ok..he is WAY cute too!
Randy it was, the worst weather other than the 117 day we had in a backyard a couple of years ago. I felt like my brain was scrambled and fried. Hard to think when you have that kind of heat and humidity. You feel like saying okay Siesta time! Everyone go home and lets come back when the sun goes down and the delta breeze kicks in.
I am up for that any day of the week! Or doing the formals at the reception where there is AC and people have relaxed. I wish we had known that the church didnt have AC!
Thanks for the huge props!
Kerri
Charlotte, you make me laugh  not only are they cute but they are a really nice couple. Love that combination!
Kerri
These are stunning. I bet despite the heat the wedding photos are beautiful, too.
Thanks and I hope so…it was stressful to be so hot and everyone complaining how hot it was didnt help the bride. She held up beautifully tho.
Hi Sarah!
Have you shot there? We have another wedding later there< I just hope that it isnt that hot when we go back! Its always much nicer when you get to shoot at a place you have already shot at. Hows it going for you this summer?
Kerri
@sfox07 -
I wish we werent so far from each other! It would be great to hang out! Checked your blog and looks like you guys are hitting the wedding season running…
