When we first met Mike and Danielle, Danielle was one of Susanna’s bridesmaids (Empire Mine) last year. When Mike popped the question Danielle called us and we made the arrangements! We did their awesome engagement session at a local park that they knew about and we were so excited when we saw this place. We find...

:eek: my brother graduated in 61.. :fun:
LOL! I was a young teen in the 60′s. I was 13 in 1967. But my next few years were spent in the whole hippie Haight Ashbury lifestyle…crazy time of my life.
Oh wow you found the house!?? Wonderful!! Oh yeah, were so there!! When is you 30th? Please tell me it isnt in the middle of wedding season! Tell me you guys had a fall or spring wedding! lol!
The only draw back is I wont want to go home if I make it to Washington! My sister was born in Yakima but we moved to Ca when she was just a baby so no real memories.
Happy for Tater!
Kerri

Bobbi & Bryan were married at the Westminster Presbyterian church with a gorgeous reception at The Library Galleria. What a beautiful day! I particularly love how brides show their personalities and taste through the choices they make when they choose everything from their dress to their choice of what to serve their guests at their reception....

What a neat surprise — I love the bagpipes, and they are always very nostalgic. I’d have been in tears also!
what a beautiful wedding. she is a stunning bride. just stopping by to say HI and see what you been up to! I love that video of Christian the Lion. I have seen that several times and it makes me cry every time. Anyway I hope all is good with everyone. Sending you lvoes and huggz…………Kimi
 It’s been so long since I have been by here. I love your profile picture ~ lovebirds!
And I love the way your business has grown so much, and you have such a passion for your work, and make each one feel like you are doing it for your own family as you put so much personal love & creativity into each session. & HUGS2 ~ Carolyn
These are special images. You captured so many great emotions and expressions throughout the day! Another wonderful wedding!
@slmret - I am just glad I knew about it ahead of time! You could really tell he was completely surprised and choked up.
@TheLittleGirlInMe - So glad to see you girl! Things are good but we are sooo much more busy than last year so we are working day and night to edit ( edit is such a small word for such alot of work!!) lol… anyway we are happy for the work and looking forward to December! Hope you guys are all doing well…
@JusticeMom - Carolyn that is the sweetest sentiment ever! It is funny we do feel like these families are ours at least until we finish their albums. The real blessing is when we get a call for belly shots and the babies and the kiddos and on and on!! lol
@jondacrafts - Thanks so much. I know it is a long slideshow…we want to make it so worthwhile for the bride and grooms and their families and friends. So thanks for taking the time to watch! That goes for everyone who actually takes time to sit down and watch!
@ShutterbugTim - Hey Tim! How is So Cal? Thanks for watching!! It always means alot to us when you come on and comment! I hope to actually visit around when I get this one album done I am working on. I will be taking a breather then heading into the next one…I miss everyone!
@lydellphoto - My father did the same for me many years ago — I was married in the living room of their house, and when we came out the front door there was a piper across the street (my maiden name was Campbell — the tune was “the Campbells are coming”)! It was an incredible surprise, and very nostalgic. I know very well all the emotions that you felt!
ooooooh, beauuuuutiful! Good job, I bet they loved these photos. (Sorry to hear about you little kitty – hope you are okay)
You take incredible photos!! I love watching your ‘shows’… what I wouldn’t give for beautiful pics like you take of my wedding…or even my sons!
@SingingMom - It was a beautiful dress and I love how she wore her veil. Just beautiful!
@slmret - Oh what a wonderful surprise your father gave you!! We have Campbells in our lineage! hmmmm…
@joyfulphotography - Thanks so much! I love it when they call and say I am crying watching this…I then start crying!! lol
@Shutterbugd - Oh thank you!!!! What I wouldnt give to have the chance to start over with Mark and have this kind of photoraphy and slideshow to remember our day! We have 2 kids still unmarried so it will be interesting what we do with that! lol
Gorgeous!!!!! You did such a beautiful job on this wedding and the post processing. I will be back to view the others.

Oh, so sad!!! My heart goes out to you!!! My dog is 14 yrs old too. I know I would miss him, so I know you will miss your cat too!!! But, remember, maybe Jesus will be feeding her in the morning now, so she won’t be alone.
(((HUGS)))

@MJ10554 - Thanks Mickey…she will be missed.
@ForHisGlory2 - Yeah and she wont even need the thyroid pill either…I hope your doggie lives a good long time!
How funny that you were posting at the same time I was! I love the pics you found of Lacy. Especially the one of her sleeping under the scripture, “He set my feet upon the rock”
oh I’m sorry Mark. I’m sorry Kerri. It’s never easy losing a member of the family like this.
I know! When I was done with mine I was amazed to see Kerri’s. Both of us had the thought to do so at the same time…must mean we’ve been married a long time.
Kenny – thank you for your sensititivy and insight that a truly loved pet is a member of the family, not just an animal.
I’m so sorry…….I believe that she’s living in another paradise and smiling to u now~
So sad but I think you did the right thing. You are correct…this is the difficult part of being a pet owner…but they do bring so much to our lives…..
rest in peace, lacy. many years ago i had to put my cat to sleep. he got feline leukemia. i never got another cat ever since.
Oh you guys….I am so sorry……..so, so, sorry….she was such a sweetie…I just adored her when I was out there…my heart breaks for ALL of you!!!!! Sending lots of prayers and Rainbow Bridges your way… I love you, Charlotte
Oh guys, I’m so sorry to hear this. I know how hard it is to go through this.
I’m so sorry for your loss. We have a kitty and can’t imagine what the house would be like if he were gone tomorrow. Praying for God’s perfect peace!!
Hey you guys we know what you are going through. I’ve had to put down three of our dogs since we got married 22 years ago and its like loosing children, the pain is the same. I wont forget Lacy, she would always nuzzle up to me when I came over, so sweet and such a long life she blessed you with. Its awful knowing that our animals only live for so long. I think thats why God dosent want us to know how long we will live.
@Borelfoto - Lacy was always very unafraid of people and would often walk up to them and try to sit on their laps as you know…lol. Sometimes the lap was offerred and sometmes not. Some people just really dislike cats I dont get it but I dont take it personally either. Lacy certainly didnt either…lol
@myjoystephanie - thanks for leaving a comment… I am resting in knowing that she doesnt have to go through a whole other day of facing such insurmountable problems…I am going to remember my memories of her and Betty with the knowledge that they are out of pain and misery. That helps me.
@jfoxphoto - Hi Jessica! So glad to hear from you! It is never easy but I think its one of those things that we dont want to think about when we decide to take on a pet that one day we will have to part.
@portiajules - Thanks Charlotte…it is amazing that you were here and got to meet all our pets. Thanks for your kind comments. I know we are all suckers for our four legged friends.
@lelandwong - its hard to willingly go through the pain again and again but I guess over the years it must have been worth it. I just cant pass up a warm cuddle and unconditional love.
@kafekotka - you said it well….I know that she struggling to survive each breath she took so I think we couldnt do anything less than to release her from that. Even tho we will miss her company.
@kennyahn - I agree with all Mark said. Thanks for chiming in. It really shows how much we all appreciate and sympathize with others and their losses especially since many of us have gone through it too.
Thanks everyone!
@nedved21 - It sure would be awesome to be able to see all our beloved pets one day. I would love to see them all happy and healthy once again.
I’m so sorry for your loss… our cat Corky was put down on Tues…
he would have been 12 next month… was diagnosed with feline diabetes two yrs ago. The house is so different without him… even though he was quite sickly the last few months, we sure miss him… my other kitty, Tater, especially. He keeps looking for him and refuses to drink from ‘their’ water bowl… I had to use a Cool Whip container.. and I’m not sure he’s drinking from that… I’ve been filling up a glass and he drinks and drinks… guess a bit of spoiling is in order!! your kitty was beautiful…. I feel your pain…
Hi again Kerri… thanks for visiting…
and for the kind words. I just bought Dustin a sympathy card (pet) and almost lost it in the groc store!
My other cat Tater is not eating much and hasn’t drank anything since this morning… he’s really dumpy… not sure how long they mourn… he’s been with Corky since we found him in 2001…Corky accepted him right off the bat…
You sound like me.. .LOL there is no way I would have left that kitty at that rest stop! much to MY hubby’s dismay! hahaha glad you found his owners! I did tell husb when I start whining for another pet he better threaten divorce! I HATE losing them… also.. that rest stop you were at is about a little over an hr from me…
we are moving to WA state though in the next few months… trying to sell our home… ackkk it’s not going well…. too many foreclosures… :wha:
have a great weekend…
Awww that is so sweet of you to get Dustin a card. How is he doing? Ha! People who own cats are 40 percent less likely to die of heart attacks! I jsut now heard that on the Tonight Show! Well I should have alot of good heart mojo! Hope I get to use it retroactively! We do sound like we have alot in common as animal lovers!
That is so amazing that you live that close to where we picked up our little stray! And this is even more amazing that you are moving to Wa. We were just having a family conversation with our oldest daughter and her husband and we all decided we want to move to Wa.! Where in Wa are you moving?!
Kerri
Oh, how sad to lose two kitties in such a short time! Losing one is difficult, but the second must be many times moreso.
@slmret - Yes, it was difficult. It really was the end of an era for us. I doubt that we will take on the responsibility for another pet at this stage. We still have our 2 doggies and that is alot of contentment and joy enough for a family of 4. Thanks for the sweet kind words…
Mark & Kerri, thank you for sharing. I’m very sorry for your loss. I prayed that God would bring your family comfort.
Ohhhh you guys!!! I’m so sorry for the loss of Lacey. We are HUGE kitty lovers and always have been. At one time we had four… YIKES! Then in May of 2005 Jakey past (after living with Bob and I for 16 years) and left us with no kitties. It was so sad and strange coming home to no kitties, our little babies. And then out of the blue, we went on a Dude Ranch trip in Sept 2005 and came home with not one but two amazing kitties!!!!! Star and Buck and they are the love of our lives… well Bobby and Alli too!!!
I know how hard this time is for you. Know that you are loved by so many!!!!
xoxooxxxoxo

I am so sorry. I was reading your post on my subscription updates, and felt the tears start. We’ve been there, so I know how it hurts. Pepper had cancer and we put her down in June. Sandy had congestive heart failure, and we put her down in July ’07. We’ve lost a couple of others in that time, too. It took me a while to not put french fries on the floor for Pepper when we’d get hamburgers. She loved them. :heartbeat:
@ShutterbugTim - Oh thank you Tim. We are doing much better.
@lastoriafoto - Star and Bucks! That is too cute! From a Dude Ranch no less…So when you call them do you call them in that order? And do they come to Starbucks? Thanks for the chuckle, Dawn. Things are a little better. I feel good knowing she had a good life.
@SingingMom - Yeah even tho Lacy was a lady and a cat she would have totally accepted a french fry from anyone under the table. Especially if it smelled like a burger…thanks for stopping in and sharing, we know we are not alone…so many wonderful stories of loyal loving companions and the people who still miss them. That is why unconditional love is so powerful!
I hate having to let pets go like that. I’ve made a fool of myself in the vetinary clininc enough times over the years.
Will animals be in heaven? we know there will be horses right? Perhaps that’s why we get mansions, to hold all the pets we accumelated over our lives.
My latest cat is 10 months old and i would be devastated now to lose her. Cat’s just have so much personality.
My thought are with you.
@chrisfawkes - Thanks Chris! Glad to meet another animal lover….Wow I have never even thought about the fact that there will be horses in heaven but you are right!!! So yeah why not!
Hi Kerri,
I am so sorry that you had to have Lacy put down, and right on top of losing Betty too. You still have the memories though, and the photos. Sadly, that’s the problem with our animals, their lifespans are so much shorter than ours, and after being with us for so long and giving us such unconditional love, they leave a big hole in our lives when they die.
Have a great weekend.
Christine

Today was a tough day…we had to say goodbye to Lacy, our cat for the last 14 years. We got Lacy 14 years ago when she was a new kitten. She used to ride with me every morning in my car on the way to my law office. In fact she would sit on my shoulders...
