So pretty! Lovely couple, nice venue… excellent photographers. Great combination I would say. Good work again. Do you use album design software or come up with your own designs and templates? The layouts are nice.

Wonderful as always. Everytime I see an album, it makes me want to get married all over again so you can do the photos. :love: Not that I could’ve afforded you when we got married. We were still in college and had $5,000 for an entire wedding with 300 guests… and our photos show it.

@MJ10554 - Hi Mickie! You are so sweet…I cant wait to see it when it comes in. We usually do the albums in Italy but this one is a more magazine style coffe table album so it will be different than what we usually do.
@joyfulphotography - You are so kind!!!! I use FotoFusion but make my own templates and layouts. I love it! It takes alot more time but I think it is worth it…

@jondacrafts - Oh I know! Our oldest daughter had 5,000 to do the whole wedding and they made it work and fortunately they had a good photog. He did film so they had to come up with the funds later to get the rolls developed. I am sorry yours didnt turn out so good.. Thank you for the wonderful words about the album. I wish we could have done yours…:cry:

@lydellphoto - For what we paid and what the guy did, the photos are decent. It was also 11 years ago- pre-digital and so we had so few to choose from and super posed ones… anyway, if I had it to do over again and was doing it today, I’d go with you guys or someone a lot like you, since we live on different coasts. :p

@jondacrafts - ahhh! Yes, I can see what you mean. Mark and I have very few from our wedding but that was 28 years ago. Many of the pictures had been stamped on the back and left their imprints on the photos beneath them… ugh! I guess I could do something with them I definitely could scan them and design a cool album for myself! lol!
I love this part of our business. While the guys are editing all the gazillion images we take away from our weddings I love when the lists of favorites come in so I can start designing the albums. While the guys get to make the images all dreamy and lovely… I love putting them...

Ooh, I’ll second all that. I especially love when a mom sees her parent album and tears of joy fills her eyes. You said this so beautifully…it really does make all the hours worth it. I just wish I could see your albums when you post them….drrr.

@mommyfish - Oh Nancy I would LOVE to do that but it seems we have a big dental bill looming with both kids coming into their widom teeth needing to be taken out! Arg! I loved when we were all younger and the last thing on our minds was getting old and the fear of financial drain of medical bills that might come as well as all the dental bills that are definitely coming with Lindsay’s braces and the wisdom teeth extractions. We are facing 8 of them between the two! Welcome debt again! Blah!
Someday I am going to do a not so nice blog on health care! Everything and I mean everything is going up! But I will save that for a rainy day post….I need to get into my bible and reassure myself that God knows our needs!
Dont forget our fall Shootout in Tahoe! I gotta get on that to make sure we get a room at the timeshare….you are coming up right??? How can we do this without YOU AND GEORGE!

@MJ10554 - Its an album that we design and upload to Italy and they print and bind it and ship it back. We always order a brief case to give it to them in to preserve their book. We love this company, glad you like it. Oh and thank you, that profile pic was taken on our anniversary at La Provance Restaurant a french restaurant…ooolala!!!

I am so proud of you skinny! Wish I could say the same..although I have maintained..going to work on it in the summer!! I need to loose 20-25 to be at goal. I did email Robin and she has that Friday evening free..so i am thinking of driving up that day…I am not sure where ya all live..how far is it from the south Bay area? I am staying in Redwood City…will I need to book a hotel up there??? Let me know so I can do that. I leave Saturday night..late…so this would work perfect for me…

@portiajules - Oh I was planning to get back to you on all that today since I just finished checking in with Robin last night. Here is what is happening on this end and I hope you will enjoy yourself while you are here!
We are having a “spa experience” on Friday night and you can hang with us. Its a girly night but I think Mark may crash it. Forget about a hotel room you can stay with us.
Lets see…Redwood City to here will be about 2.5 hrs. We used to live there! That is where we lived when we got married. Then we moved to Sacramento. I think that was around ’82.
We do have a wedding that next day. So we will have to be good kids and get a good night sleep but we will have fun! Cant wait!!!!

I am so happy too!! I feel so much healthier and working all day at weddings are not as bad anymore unless of course it is triple digits!
Its a discipline that I have had to incorporate into my life. If I look at it any other way I will fail. Its my new life.

@backlightphoto - thank you! I really love that album. So many fun images and memories to go with them. I love after wedding shots…no pressure like the day of the wedding alot like an engagement session.
Hopefully I will reach my next goal (25 more) by the end of the year. Which I think is do able. THen by next wedding season I will really be a mlean mean fighting machine! ha!!!!:lol:
