I met Letty on facebook through a mutual friend ( Chris Bland ) who has been an incredible cheerleader in her life. After becoming friends on facebook Letty contacted me and asked if I could take some photos of her during this point in her journey, as well as her and her husband Jose. I immediately said , “Yes!” Unbeknownst to her, I had been asking God for something I could put my whole heart into that would honor my mother’s battle with breast cancer. So when the contact was made, I saw this as God’s answer to that prayer and desire of my heart.
When they arrived Mark and I soon found out how amazing this couple is. The joie de vivre* that they both possess in the face of all they have been through comes shining through. In fact if you look up those words in the French dictionary you would find their photos there! *WINK*
Thank you to Jose for telling us about this song – it’s one of their favorites, and we thought it was perfect for the slideshow! Letty it is so evident as I looked through your photos how much Jose loves and admires you. It touches my soul. Jose I love how she looked so safe in your arms. It blessed me so much to help put this together for you.
